Everything You Need to Easily Create a Chrome CRX Theme

During the process of figuring out how to construct a CRX theme for Chrome, I put together a cheat-sheet for myself. That cheat-sheet turned into a fully detailed list of elements and definitions. That fully detailed list was later coupled with a pretty involved Photoshop template that gave me a real-time view of the theme while making color and image changes, which then totally simplified the whole process of doing the actual scripting.

Now it’s to a point that it’s able to be comprehended by people other than myself, so I’d like to share it with you in a package I call the CRXAssistKit.

I know a little about what’s important and what’s not, but I am pretty much ignorant when it comes to all the variables involved and how best to make them all work for you. Maybe it’s me, but I seem to have abnormally horrific experiences with pretty much all of the major companies I rely on for things such as my internet connection, my cell phone service, my electricity and most recently, my web hosting. Now, you would think that I would hold the companies such as Verizon and Comcast at a much higher standard than I would a company which costs me a little under 5 bucks every month, but for some crazy reason I don’t. It is GoDaddy that has frustrated, angered, and ultimately disappointed me the most.
